Paver location: 8-D (see map)
In May 1994, the Class of 1994 proudly dedicated a wall welcoming visitors to campus as they entered through SMU Boulevard, prominently located in the median between the KA house and the intramural field. Individual donors were recognized with a named brick on the back side of that wall. I had graduation photos taken pointing at "my brick in our wall." When the Bush Library was built, this wall was torn down to be replaced by flowers and plants. Although the original bricks have been discarded, the participants in that fundraising effort are recognized with pavers like this one. Donors from the classes of 1995 and 1996 also had memorial walls removed due to building and redesign projects over the years. Hopefully this promenade will be a more lasting legacy of the amazing Classes of 1994-1996.
