When I first stepped foot on the SMU (2004) campus I was a communications contractor and SMU. After spending about 3 years on campus, SMU purchased Expressway Tower. As we were wiring up the second floor for HR one of my co-workers spotted a job opening on the job posting board outside of the HR suite. The job listed was identical to my costumers position (Rich Bull). That night my wife and I talked about the possible opportunity, I was weary of attempting to apply due to the stringent requirements for the position, most of all the RCDD accreditation. My wife said I should give it a shot, opportunities like this are few and far between for someone in my field of work. Whats the worst that could happen, they turn me down? So I applied. Luckily with my vast knowledge of the campus and relationships with key personnel, I beat out the competition. After a couple of years of study, I passed my RCDD. Here I am 6.5 years later and still loving life! I am a lucky man :)
