I am from Dallas, went to Skyline HS, entered SMU in May of 1998 and graduated in May 2002. My most memorable time at SMU was, 9/11/2001. A day most of us still remember well. I ran out of my 8:00am film class, early, to my father's office in the Engineering school. I, then, found my friends in the Student Center, with 250 others, huddled around a small TV.
If you are thinking of going to SMU, do it! When interviewing for a job, with out fail, I hear, "so you went to SMU, that's a good school". I have yet to get a job when SMU is brought up in the interview.
I live in San Antonio, TX with my wife, 3 kids, and six-figure salary. My time at SMU prepared me for the fast paced, business world it took to create the life I want. Over the last five years I have had a lot of, "I never thought I would have/be/do that" moments. The legacy behind SMU's name, the experience I had there and the world changers created there still, add to my continued appreciation for my Hilltop Experience!
