Due to an overwhelming response from local SMU alumni, registration for this event is now closed. To be placed on the waiting list for tickets, email meadowsalumni@smu.edu with all guest names.

Explore the mini-masterpieces of Salvador Dalí in a special after-hours event for SMU alumni!
Tickets include access to the exhibition Dalí: Poetics of the Small, 1929–1936 and all of the following:

Surreal Spread
Sip Spanish wines and savor Spanish cheeses and charcutería, pan con tomate, and a selection of “dreamy” desserts.

Tarot Readings with the Dalí Deck*
Dalí designed Tarot cards? Who knew? Enjoy a reading with the Dalí Deck focused on revealing helpful information for your future.
*Tarot readings are first-come, first-served.

Magic Mirror Photo Booth
Grab props and friends and strike a pose in front of a Magic Mirror Photo Booth. Leave with a memento of your surreal night.

Art Making with Joel Murray
Get creative in the galleries with artist and educator Joel Murray, whose art involves fictional characters and ridiculous happenings.

Surrealist Games
Release your rational mind as you play surrealist board games in the galleries.

Short Films: Un Chien Andalou & Destino
Sit back and enjoy Dalí on the big screen. His collaborative films—Un Chien Andalou (1929) and Destino (2003)—play all night in the Bob and Jean Smith Auditorium.

Mustachioed Mirrors
Selfie opportunities abound! Pose in front of the museum’s mustachioed mirrors and post to social media using the event’s hashtags: #meadowSMUseumdallas #Daliinthedark #DaliInDallas
