Rafael Anchia '90 was first elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 2004. Since that time, he has served District 103, which includes parts of Dallas—North Oak Cliff, West Dallas, Arlington Park, Love Field and North Park neighborhoods—as well as portions of Irving and Farmers Branch. He is the co-founder and managing director of Civitas Capital Management and Of Counsel at Haynes & Boone, the largest law firm in Dallas. He also serves on the advisory board of the Clements Center for Southwest Studies at SMU.
