Hamon Arts Library
The Audiovisual study rooms 2270 & 3270 seat up to 4 people and have multimedia capabilities including a widescreen monitor, laptop adaptors, HDMI connectors and a Blu-ray disc player for playing Blu-ray discs, CDs and DVDs. A turn table and electric key board are available for check out at the 1st floor services desk.
The Hamon Arts Library holds the SMU Division of Music Concert and Recital Recordings Archive.
The Hamon Arts Library currently owns almost 16,000 CDs, 10,000 LP records, and over 2,000 DVDs, as well as audio and videocassette tapes, laser discs, and microforms. The scope of the collection includes materials related to music, the visual and performing arts from Antiquity through the present day, and from both Western and international traditions. Access to the collection is located on the first floor.

The KIC overhead scanner, located on the first floor, is very popular due to its high resolution, ease of use, and ability to save images to a flash drive or email them to a personal account.
Hamon's audiovisual collectiom contains microfilm and microfiche materials related to the visual and performing arts, including issues of Down Beat, the Music Manuscripts Collection of the British Library, Variety, and Art News.
SMU provides instructional technology service in the arts at the Multimedia Center, located in the Information Commons in Fondren Library.
