Third Annual Black Excellence Ball
Presented by the Black Alumni of SMU and
the Association of Black Students

The Black Alumni of SMU and the Association of Black Students invite you to the Third Annual Black Excellence Ball. This reception will honor the 2014 Black Alumni of SMU History Makers and celebrate Association of Black Students' Scholars.

In 1952, John Weston Elliot, James Arthur Hawkins, James Vernon Lyles, Negail Rudolph Riley and Albert Cecil Williams enrolled in Perkins School of
Theology, becoming the first African American students to enroll at SMU. Join the Black Alumni of SMU 52 Club and support the Black Alumni of SMU Scholarship. Now through February 26, with a donation of $52, you will receive a ticket to the Black Excellence Ball, a ticket to the SMU vs. UCF men’s basketball game, entry to the happy hour during halftime and sponsor recognition in the event program.
