As any graduate of Meadows or working artist knows, in the right hands a little can go a long way.

Need to create a breathtaking and functional set with two pieces of cloth, a clip light and no budget? A great designer can make it happen. Need to shoot a short film over the weekend with borrowed equipment, twenty bucks and your apartment serving as six locations? Done.

Like you, we know how far a few dollars can and has to go in the arts. That's why we don't need $100 from our graduates. A donation from you of $10, $15 or $25 can help us continue to shape Meadows for the future.

Where does your money go? Real results have come from your donations. Help keep the momentum going:

  • Help us continue to bring in world class artists-in-residence to work directly with our students, such as 2014 Meadows Prize winner Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, the founder and artistic director of New York-based dance company Urban Bush Women (see page 14).
  • Support the next generation of journalists by aiding the Journalism studio's transition into HD.
  • Help Meadows students better prepare for the transition into the "real world," and a lifelong career in the arts, by aiding the development of curriculum for our new Arts Entrepreneurship program.
  • Help sustain the National Center for Arts Research at SMU, the first resource to offer evidence-based insights that will help transform the business of arts management (see page 8).

Meadows graduates know what it takes to succeed and survive in the arts. They know how an arts education can aid you beyond SMU's walls, and they know that a little can go a long way when it's in creative hands. Help Meadows continue to produce innovative, culturally aware artists and people.
