Erin Doyle is a multi-instrumentalist with a love of music and performing. Miss Doyle grew up in Overland Park, Kansas and currently resides in Dallas, Texas. She attends Southern Methodist University's Meadows School of the Arts and is pursuing a Bachelor of Music Degree in flute performance with a minor in arts management. She studies flute with Jean Larson Garver, former principal flute of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. She also studies piano with Alfred Mouledous and saxophone and jazz flute with Donald Fabian.
Miss Doyle teaches flute lessons at Woodrow Wilson High School and Jesuit College Preparatory School. She is also a piano accompanist for Woodrow Wilson and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Miss Doyle sings and plays flute and piano for Masses on campus at SMU and other surrounding churches. She plays flute in the Meadows Wind Ensemble and the Meadows Symphony Orchestra, alto saxophone with the Meadows Jazz Orchestra, and she collaborates frequently with composers to premiere new works. On the side she plays keyboard and woodwinds with funk-rock band COLORS.
