Faith Fang is a violinist originally from Abilene, Texas. Since beginning the violin at the age of five, she has participated in prestigious ensembles, collaborated with renowned musicians, and performed around the world. Her pursuit of excellence in performance has led to many accomplishments. As an orchestral musician, she was a member of the Texas All-State Orchestra and has served as concertmaster of the Abilene Youth Orchestra and All-Region Orchestra. In addition, Faith has competed as a soloist on a regional and state-wide level, achieving 3rd Place Winner of the Nelda Hodges Young Artist Competition and earning the Outstanding Performer Distinction twice at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Competition.
In addition to her classical background, Faith has explored a variety of musical genres, from Celtic reels to fiddle tunes. Her versatility as a violinist has allowed her to perform for many different events, including weddings, festivals, and worship services. She has also cultivated skills as a recording artist and as a violin teacher, and she is passionate about sharing her love of music with a worldwide audience.
As a music major at Southern Methodist University, Faith currently studies under Emanuel Borok. She formerly studied with Dr. Peter Isaacson.
