Francis is currently a Sophomore viola performance major along with minors in Arts Management and Entrepreneurship. He studies under Barbara Sudweeks the principal violist of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Francis is involved in being Teaching Assistant to Jamal Mohamed, and Senior Assistant of recruitment for the Meadows School of the Arts. Outside of school Francis has been invited to Idyllwild Summer Festival of the Arts, Max Aronoff Viola Institute in Seattle(14',15'),Virtuosi Chamber festival(13',14',15'), Honor Orchestra of America(15' 16' season) , and most recently Miami Music Festival to study with Roberto Diaz from Curtis Institute of Music. Francis regularly performs with the Meadows Symphony Orchestra, World Music Ensemble, The Grace Symphony, and the Brazos-port Symphony along with special solo performances at University of Saint Thomas, Marco Rubio Private Campaign dinner in Houston Texas. Francis has placed in Region, Area, and All State for Texas. Students of Francis have all ranked highly in Region, Area, and All State; Each student also participates in solo and ensemble and all of his students have received 1's. Francis performs on a Marten Cornelissen viola made in 1985 and an Ivory Lotte bow. And previously on a Luigi Contavalli 1887 on loan from a patron.
