Isaac Beu is a clarinetist and music educator based in Dallas, Texas. Currently a Junior at Southern Methodist University's Meadows School of the Arts, Isaac performs regularly with the Meadows Symphony Orchestra, Meadows Wind Ensemble, and SYZYGY New Music Ensemble. Additionally, Isaac has performed with the Corpus Christi Ballet Orchestra, Idyllwild Chamber Orchestra, Austin Symphonic Band, Music For All's Honor Orchestra and Honor Band of America, the 2014 TMEA All-State Philharmonic Orchestra, and has freelanced with numerous groups in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Isaac has studied clarinet with Paul Garner, Dr. Nicholas Councilor, Alan Olson, and Dr. Vanguel Tangarov, as well as conducting with Dr. Jack Delaney. A devoted music educator and private lesson teacher, Isaac maintains a small studio of advanced clarinet students at Highland Park High School. Isaac seeks to instill a strong sense of musicianship in his students through study of solo repertoire, etudes, and technique work.
