About this creative
I am a master's student at SMU studying Vocal Performance, training as a Baritone under Virginia Dupuy. I have been refining my vocal skills for about 7 years at the collegiate level, singing in two recitals, multiple operas, a few vocal jazz gigs, and was even a finalist at the national level in the NATS young artist competition.
I have performed lead roles in several operas, including Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, numerous performances of Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors, as well as a premiere of a new work by Robert Chumbley called Hidden Jewel. Most recently, I sang the role of Schicchi in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi with a young artist program in Germany. I have performed art songs and arias by composers such as Handel, Mozart, Liszt, Puccini, Ravel, John Musto, and many more.
I am pretty fast at picking up new music, and as a grad student I have flexible hours for events and rehearsals. I am willing and excited to learn anything, as I have experience and passion in classical, jazz, church music, and newer music, though I primarily do classical music. I would love to be considered for your next event!
