Music: Private Teachers (Voice)

About this creative

I am a master's student at SMU studying Vocal Performance, training as a Baritone under Virginia Dupuy. I have been refining my vocal skills for about 7 years at the collegiate level, singing in two recitals, multiple operas, a few vocal jazz gigs, and was even a finalist at the national level in the NATS young artist competition.

I have performed lead roles in several operas, including Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart and Gianni Schicchi, and have performed numerous art songs and arias by composers such as Handel, Mozart, Liszt, Puccini, Ravel, John Musto, and many more.

I would love to teach private instruction to anyone who would like to learn from a performing operatic singer. I am new to teaching private instruction, but with a keen ear and years of voice lessons and performing experience behind me, I believe that I have plenty of insight to share. I would start with the basics, teaching how to take low, deep breaths, how to properly engage the body, and helping setting the groundwork for a nice, clean, healthy sound production that would keep your voice going strong for years to come.
