Joshua Rosenbaum is a horn player from the Texas town of El Paso, and is now residing in the DFW area. Has performed with many different types of ensembles such as jazz, rock, contemporary and classical. Rosenbaum has had the opportunities to play bass guitar in a rock band, viola in a string quartet, guitar in a jazz band, and horn in all of the above. Music has also taken Mr. Rosenbaum to a multitude of cities and places all across the United States as well as Israel, performing in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Universal Studios, Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, and on the battle ship the USS Midway, as well as states such as Texas, Tennessee, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Colorado, Maryland and New York. Had students placing in various groups across the state of Texas and New Mexico including the TMEA 6A All State Concert Band and Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the Southwest Honor Band in Las Cruses, NM. While obtaining his formal education on the horn, Rosenbaum has studied with David Heyde, and Gregory Hustis. Currently a student of Haley Hoops at the Meadows School of the Arts in Dallas, Texas.
