His primary university teachers have been Leonard Ott (Oakland Symphony) and Tom Booth (Dallas Symphony). A proponent of new music and the future repertoire of the trumpet world, one of his last projects consisted of commissioning a new work for trumpet, voice, vibraphone, and double bass from a recently graduated composer of University of the Pacific. As a freelance orchestral, chamber, jazz, and solo musician, he has had the pleasure of providing services to various institutions such as community orchestras, churches, theater companies, as well as other private organizations.
