My name is Matt Corcoran and I'm a new PD Tenor studying with Clifton Forbis. I'm originally from Boston, MA and I am an active performer and voice teacher. I received my B.M. from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and my M.M. from Boston University where I studied with Penelope Bitzas. I'm primarily a classical singer but I do perform and teach MT, Jazz and was a founding member of of UML's Hawkapella. In 2018, I performed as Don Ottavio in NEMPACs Don Giovanni, Remandado in Opera NHís Concert production of Carmen and recently sang with Concord Chorale as their tenor soloist in Mozartís Grand Mass in C minor. Other roles include Eisenstein in Straussí Die Fledermaus, Brother in Weillís Seven Deadly Sins, Sheldon Segal in John Mustoís Later the Same Evening, covered Louis Ironson in Peter EŲtvosí Angels in America and Le Doyon in Massanetís Cendrillon. I've also performed as the tenor soloist in Handelís Messiah, Verdiís Requiem, Beethovenís 9th, Mozartís Requiem and Mass in C Minor, Michael Haydnís Requiem, Ariel Ramirezí Missa Criolla and Schubertís 2nd Mass in G.
