Tereska Grynia, born in Cracow, Poland. She began her music education at age 6 choosing violin as her major instrument. She holds a Bachelor of Music from Academy of Music in Cracow where she studied with Prof. Mieczyslaw Szlezer, Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degree from University of Georgia where she studied with Prof. Levon Ambartsumian. She has performed solo, chamber and orchestral music in Europe, Asia and United States. Tereska was a concertmaster of Julius Slowacki Theatre in Cracow, Academy of Music Symphony and Baroque orchestra. She has collaborated with Krzysztof Penderecki, Ingolf Wunder, Uto Ughi. Besides being a classical violinist, Tereska sings jazz, pop, rnb, plays piano and writes her own music. The non - classical bands she used to collaborate with are Whitehall Jazz Collective - jazz/pop band based, Athens Tango Project, Argentinian Tango band.
Tereska is currently pursuing Performer's Diploma at Meadows School of the Arts where she studies with Prof. Emanuel Borok.
