The Mustang Brass Quintet is a graduate student ensemble whose goal it is to make brass chamber music fun and accessible to all audiences. They offer programs ranging from classical to pop, jazz to marches, and educational programs for school groups. The versatility of a brass quintet allows the Mustang Brass Quintet to perform in nearly any setting, such as church services, weddings, classroom demonstrations, house parties, conventions, as background music, formal recitals, outdoor venues, and more! Tim McCarthy, trumpet; Tim is a Performer's Diploma student at SMU, originally from Washington State.
Regan O'Connor, trumpet; Regan is a Master's Degree student at SMU, originally from Frisco.
Alex Stepans, horn; Alex is completing his Master's Degree at SMU, originally from California.
Matt Laskowski, trombone; Matt is a Master's Degree student at SMU, originally from Michigan.
George Alberti, tuba; George is working on his Master's Degree at SMU, originally from Maryland.
