Bio

I am a percussionist based in Dallas, TX. I have been studying music for 10 years with some of the best artists across DFW, includig members of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the Dallas Opera Orchestra, and the world percussion ensemble D'Drum. I currently attend Southern Methodist University, where I study Percussion Performance, and Arts Management.

I have extensive experience in almost all areas of percussion performance and education. I have performed with the Meadows Wind Ensemble and Meadows Symphony Orchestra for almost four years. I have also been with the SMU Mustang Marching Band for that time, and currently act as Drum Captain for that organization. Other ensembles I have been a part of include the Meadows Percussion Ensemble, Point Ensemble, and the Meadows World Music Ensemble, under the direction of Jamal Mohamed, with whom I studied Balinese music and culture on location in 2014. I have also had the privilege of performing with the Meadows Opera, the Meadows Chorale, and the Meadows Dance Department.

I have taught at Cedar Hill High School, Townview Magnet Center, and Dunbar Elementary school, and worked in Arts Management with Voices of Change, Fine Arts Chamber Players, Bridge the Gap, and the DSO.
